The Merosi engineered RL went on a production in 1923 and Alfa manufactured it for only three years.
Just its price differentiates RM from RL. Alfa doesn’t race with this car so much, so it wasn’t a popular one. The engines spare parts were mainly the same as the RL’s, but RM had a 4 cylinder engine. The 2 litre unit had 40 HP output, but it reached the 95 km/h speed. In is’t only race, at the Coppa della Apin in 1923 finished fourth at the 2 litre car’s group. Only 500 RMs were made.
